Established in 1972, M.S.P.M. has built an unmatched reputation for founding schools that deliver affordable, sustainable, and high-quality education to the community.

The school’s legacy is inspired by the philanthropic vision of the late Mrs. Nalini Dode and late Dr. Yashavantrao Dode. Recognizing the educational needs of Mulund, they envisioned and established a Marathi Medium School. Their remarkable contributions to the field of education earned them national accolades: Mrs. Nalini Dode received the National Teacher’s Welfare Award, and Shri Yashavantrao Dode was honored with the National Teacher Award by the Government of India.

D.Y.D. World School proudly holds the distinction of being the first ICSE-affiliated school in Mulund East. We are affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi, which administers the ICSE public examinations. Our affiliation number is MA232/2018. This affiliation ensures that our educational standards meet the rigorous criteria set by the CISCE, providing our students with a high-quality and recognized curriculum.

Our guest this week is Capt. D Sreenivas of the Indian Navy

He is a graduate of the Prestigious National Defence Academy located at Khadakwasla, Pune and an alumnus of Sainik School Korukonda, Andhra Pradesh. Captain D Sreenivas was commissioned into the Indian Navy on 01 Jan 1986. During the last 35 years of distinguished Service, he served on many war Ships of the Indian Navy. Some important ones being- Indian Naval Ship Viraat (the Aircraft Carrier), INS Shakti and INS Deepak ( the Fleet Tankers), INS Magar (the Landing Ship ) and INS Kakinada and INS Mulki (the Mine sweepers).

Capt. D Sreenivas will answer various questions asked by our students regarding career opportunities and the life in the Indian Navy.

Our guest this week, Ms. Nalini Sharma is a Fashion Designer

Ms. Nalini Sharma is a very well experienced professional in the field of Fashion Designing having hands on experience of running her own Boutique for over 24 years in Pune.
She has done Masters in Home Science with specialization in Textile & Clothing in the year 1990 from S.N.D.T. Women’s University, Mumbai and is a Gold Medalist for securing First position.
Nalini started her professional career as Assistant Professor at G B Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar (Near Nainital), Uttarakhand where she taught Pattern Making, Garment Construction, Indian Embroidery etc. to UG and PG students.
She even published a Research Paper on a local craft of that area – Rampur called “Patti Work”.
She was drawn towards corporate world and joined London Fashions as a Merchandiser where she learnt various aspects of Designing, Production and Retailing.
However, Nalini was bitten by Entrepreneurial bug and successfully established her own Boutique by the name Saga The Boutique with in-house designing, embroidery and production.

Ms. Nalini Sharma will answer various questions asked by our students regarding the field of Fashion Designing.
